I've never been to the Summer event, but have gone a few times in the fall. It's a great venue for that type of racing.

Love Road America! I have been there for the Superbike races several times. If you are camping, bring lots of bug spray...

Not planning on Camping for this one. My uncle and Aunt live in Milwaukee, so we're just gonna drive in on Friday and Saturday.
I've raced the track a lot in video games, so I'm really stoked to see it raced live.

It's a great track in person. A lot of different places to watch the action. Canadian Corner is one of my favs, Enjoy!

I would recommend starting at Fireman's Hill to watch the massive braking before turn 5. During the vintage events I've attended there has always been at least one driver with too much wood in his pants who forgets his brakes and tires are still cold and flies into the runoff area. Another good viewing area is the hill on the outside of turn 7, a fast downhill right where the drivers with the biggest stones use every inch of the track.
Also, if you can spare a few $$ for a higher-end meal I would highly recommend dinner at the Paddock Club on Lake St. You will make inappropriate noises while eating the skinny fries with garlic aioli dipping sauce.
